Indoor Patients

Indoor department deals with admission of patients to hospital. The patients are requested to contact IPD Reception counter for more details. For pre planned admission prior information will help the hospital to allot you rooms as per your requirement and schedule other services accordingly.

Rooms available are as follows:

• General Ward (Male/Female)

• Single Room (AC/Non AC)

• Double Room (AC/Non AC)

• VIP Room

One attendant is allowed per patient in the room/ward after visiting hours (10.30 - 11.30 am and 5.00 - 7.00 pm)

NURSING CARE

We provides 24-hour comprehensive, individualized nursing care for in-patients based on their assessed nursing needs. All our nurses are well-qualified and experienced with a commitment to patient care. Nursing care is collaborated with the health team in rendering Total Nursing Health Care, as one of the major modality pattern in giving nursing allocations. To provide the best quality nursing care, the nursing personnel are adequately prepared by education, experience and training.

Canteen facility :

Diet is an integral part of patient medication. Therefore, food from outside source is discouraged. Dieticians, in association with your doctor, will assess your diet needs. You are advised to follow the dieting instructions specified by them for speedy recovery. Religious sentiments of the patients will be considered while deciding on the diets. Kindly inform the dietician of the same.. Our services times are:

• Breakfast: 7.00 am - 8.30 am

• Tea/coffee/milk: 10.00 am - 10.30 am

• Lunch: 12.30 pm - 1.00 pm

• Evening tea with biscuits: 4.00 pm - 4.30 pm

• Dinner: 7.00 pm - 8.30 pm

• Milk: 9.00 pm - 9.30 pm

Note: Once a diet has been designed for your specific needs, any change in quantity or otherwise is not advocated ; it maybe detrimental to your health.

24 hrs Drug Store:

The drug store in the campus is open for 24 hrs.

Housekeeping & Laundry service:

BIHS Hospitals maintains the highest level of cleanliness. Housekeeping Department looks after the cleanliness of your room. Wards are cleaned and bed linen and towels are changed on a daily basis. We understand the importance of infection control practices for handling, processing, storing and delivery of textiles in a healthcare setting. Specialized equipment and chemicals are used to enhance the hospital’s cross infection control programmes. Housekeeping Desk can be contacted on intercom number 1600 for change of linen, additional cleaning, etc.

Hot and cold water:

Cold water is available for all patients as there is cooler at each floor. Hot water from 7 am to 10 pm to all admitted patients through solar heater.

Hot and cold water:

The religious and spiritual services can be organized on request. Please contact the floor ward secretary or the nurse in-charge for the same.

We solicit your cooperation and support in keeping the hospital clean. Help us in making this hospital an environment friendly zone:

• Kindly avoid flushing any materials like cotton bandages, sanitary napkins, etc. in the toilet

• Please do not chew betel leaf/betel nut/smoke/drink alcohol in hospital premises

• Please do not dispose waste/rubbish anywhere except into the bins provided for the purpose. As per infection control norms, we have bins in all convenient places and washrooms. Please dispose the waste on the bins.
